  • Space Environment Corporation has deployed a small, low-power (100 W) PC-based ionosonde at the Utah State University Bear Lake Observatory. This instrument, the Canadian Advanced Digital Ionosonde (CADI), is used to provide information about the ionospheric F layer during critical times of day, and also provides HF propagation data through the day using a passive mode. The quality of the CADI data will be evaluated against the other instruments operating at BLO.
